Self-tan without stains

To avoid patchy or uneven tanning, spread the lotion evenly over clean, dry skin and exfoliate beforehand to remove dead skin cells. If there is excessive tanning in certain areas, apply less product or gently wipe away excess lotion. Avoid over-tanning your hands and feet by treating these areas sparingly and keeping them well hydrated. To avoid streaks or marks, apply the lotion evenly and thoroughly. If streaks appear, gently correct them with a damp cloth. To make your tan last longer, keep your skin well hydrated. Before use, test the lotion for tolerance and follow these tips to achieve optimal results.

Good preparation is like the holy grail of self-tanning. The short version is: clean - peel - and dry your skin.

Step 2: Apply it

Spread the Tan Lotion evenly with our glove or with your hands, using circular movements. Apply the mousse sparingly on elbows, knees and ankles. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

Step 3: Let it set & take it off

Leave on for 1-2 hours for a natural tan. For a more intense and darker finish, the exposure time can be extended. Briefly shower the body with lukewarm water (45 seconds). Do not use soap or exfoliants.

Step 4: Get ready

The tan develops within the next 8 hours. By applying a moisturizer or one of our Gradual Tan Mousses daily, you will prolong and maintain your tan.

When will I see the first results and how long will they last?

You will see the first results after just 2 hours. For full potential, allow Self Tan Lotion to work for up to 8 hours before rinsing thoroughly from your body. How long your tan lasts depends heavily on your skin and its cell renewal. I've heard that self-tanners stink. Is that correct?
